Grinding Wheel Flanges - Washers Needed

Hi Folks,
Anyone know where I can get raised, or domed grinding wheel washers. These are used on bench lathes for instrument making. Minimum of 3"D x 1/8"+- x 1/2" hole.

If you want these to run precisely, best to make them or have them made. I've never seen a high-quality stamped one of these.

We lead solder them to the hardened arbors we had made, then dress the inside face.

I would make them on the lathe they are to be used on, with a little care they should run true and perfect.

You can get 3" flange plates from a manufacturer of saw blades for wood working machinery.Most of these have a 5/8" bore. You could use a bushing to get to 1/2".Try Freud,Amana,etc. Even Mc Master Carr may have them if you look for it in saw blade accessories.Many of these manufacturers also sell the bushings.
