Is HAAS's current sale good?

Hello, Haas advertises ~15% discount on their products right now. I'm assuming to counter a drop in sales from COVID19. I've been looking at a mini mill with upgraded spindle and wireless probing for around $40k. I was curious as to others experiences and if I should take advantage of the sale.

It's about as good as I've seen it yet.

They had a similar sale last year where: 1 machine- 15% off, 1 machine + rotary or barfeeder- 20% off, 3 machines- 25% off.

IIRC that's what the structure is now.

Also keep an eye on their flash sales. Sometimes they'll have 1 or 2 machines for a stupid discount like 40-60%. They don't last long though.....

If it meets your needs, that's not a bad price. I've got a little beef with the Mini mills as I find them too small and limited, but I have the room for larger machines. If you don't, go for it.

My only other caution is depending on economy and pandemic factors they "may" have deeper sales later, but if you need a machine now, go for it.
