Hello fellows, I‘m trying to identify this thread dial. Anyone have a suggestion to manufacturer? I ran this by my antique equipment friends, searched google images hoping to verify it wasn’t manufactured by company “not to be mentioned here”. Didn’t see any similarities. Also tried the antique forum.
I acquired it in a box of parts for a W.F. Barnes #5 lathe. I’ve never seen literature on a thread dial for Barnes lathes. Anyone have a suggestion to manufacturer?
The gear runs down a 1”-8 NC tap like the pitch is correct. The body is aluminum. The thread dial appears to mount in horizontal position under the lead screw. Suggestions?
If you can use it shoot me an offer.
Thanks
Ray
