Help Identifying Turning Tool -

Hi,

Can someone help on identifying this cutting tool(I think).
It is similar to Ifanger type tools but grooves run the other way.

Agree the pipe thread is probable, but if you've no need, for that?

ISTR that one of the Poly-Vee or Micro-Vee "serpentine" belts also has that spacing? Or mayhap it was 11 to the inch I'm thinking of?

Anyhoo..someone had made a pulley grooving cutter from a pipe threading die - South Bend forum, "right here, on PM" and over five years ago, IIRC.

IF, repeat IF, it happens to fit, that beats all heck out of step and repeat single-pointing the little nuisances.
