Greeting all,
I am hoping someone can help me identify how to specify this spiral bevel gear so I can search for a replacement. ( original no longer available)
It is half of a bevel set. This one is 22 teeth the other is 25 teeth. My not so accurate calculations lead me to think is may be mod 2.5.
The dimensions are shown in the following pictures.
Thanks in Advance

Peter

Another very useful bevel gear source is the 1940s IH KB7 truck diff .....the differential (side) gears have quite fine teeth for a truck diff, and run smoothly in mesh in a milling head.....Later IH truck diffs have coarser teeth ,and will run OK in mesh ,but not quietly.
