Need a small drill press for the shop ... need to stay under $1000.
Largest holes will be 1/2" drilled through 3" steel pipe (3-1/2" OD, .216 wall thickness) ... and mind you this will be done infrequently.
More commonly will be drilling through 1/4" thick aluminum.
