yesterday I started a overhaul on a boiler feed pump. inside I found special "honeycomb wear rings". these are a non standard type of wear rings. I wonder how they are made. Maybe you guys could help me. I don't have to make them, I'm just fascinated by the way they would be made. any ideas??
