How to post a video from a laptop that was downloaded from a cellphone?

I want to show a video of the weird noise this machine is making. Downloaded it to my laptop but got stuck at that point. How is this done? It's not as straightforward as uploading a picture.

You could post video to Youtube then post a link here,

You have to host it on 3rd part site like YouTube. I think you can also use facebook, google drive, etc.

Yep, YouTube or similar is your best bet. Even a short video will be relatively huge, far larger than most forums will want to store. You can process it to reduce its size, but that can be difficult. YouTube already has the facility built in to do the processing and reducing.

If this does not work out, you could use WeTransfer

And post the link to the video
