Is this a hydralic tilt trailer or part of a truck

It appears to be a complete unit, the axle is certainly trailer ,as is the suspension...........For that kind of money, you would need to be getting all the engineering certs and plans needed to have the unit approved by the highway dept where you plan to use it..........30k lbs would need to be distributed over two axles evenly, not just the one on the trailer, assuming your state limit is arond 15k per axle........For the price ,it would have to come licensed, taxed, ready to use ,IMHO.

It's a cobble up of a roll back car carrier bed and some kind of old trailer frame. And not worth no where near what they are asking.

True ,paulz, but the OP asked about truck bits, and there are no truck bits I can see.......Out here ,a slide tilt tray would fetch something like that ,with all the engineering approvals in place....The price is up to how bad the OP needs one,and is there a choice of others............the vendor may be a trailer specialist,or they may be the back lot of a scrap yard......I dont know.

It's a tandem axle rollback bed that just happens to be sitting on top of a "jump jeep", which is a single axle you put in front of a low boy trailer to get more capacity.

That's a crazy price at any rate. You could buy the whole running truck for that kind of money.

From what I can see, it's simply a scrap yard cut off.

If you really want similar, I would suggest one of the many gooseneck
"dumpster roll off" trailers, they also make an interchangeable
"dumpster" that is a flatbed with headache rack.

While they don't offer the extreme hydraulic versatility of the roll back, they offer much lighter empty weight, and therefore more capacity for a given Loaded GVW.

Thus has been discussed before, please check the archives.

IIRC Milacron posted pix of just such a trailer, and the problem was
overweight, and not much carrying ability.

OP here. I have no interest in buying this overpriced junk. Closer inspection it may be sitting on a separate trailer that is not included?
I did see a garbage truck for sale that someone cut into a trailer and added a 15HP engine to run the hydraulics. They sold the front part to a neighbor farmer.
