Lima 4 spd gear box?

Anyone familiar with the Lima gearbox assemblies? I recently picked up a Sheldon EXL-56B, which has an undermount motor with a Lima 4 spd gearbox. I haven't been able to find out much regarding the assembly, and curious how durable/reliable the setup is. Any suggestions on a gear oil to use, I doubt its ever been changed...

I can not tell you much you have told me more than i new as far as it being a Lima unit
I have same motor gearbox assy on a converted from line shaft throatless shear neat units I would change oil on principle no idea when last changed if ever
I would recommend flipping end bell so not a funnel for debris

I have one on an old Burke #3 horizontal mill FYI. Funny thing is that I also have a Sheldon EXL but mine is 43".
