Good evening all,

I recently purchased a Dorman Machine Tool Works Tapping Head from ebay for my Delta DP600. I don't have an immediate need for it, but I thought it may come in handy. I am waiting for it to arrive so I decided to do some research and I cannot find anything on the internet regarding this company. I am turning to here to see if anyone has some information. My plant is to clean this up and paint. I want to inspect and make sure the internals are in good shape. Here are the photos from purchasing it.

I hope you didn't spend over $20 on this.

The only thing salvageable appears to be the universal tap chuck.

It was a little more than that. It was more on the logic that I have never found a tapping head cheaper, it is old and more than likely fairly stout, and the reversing mechanism works. So I decided to roll the dice.

I have several tapping heads, and I've seen many more brands, and that one is odd.

the problem (to me at least) is that is appears to be a cone clutch type, and that is a normal wear item.

where to get new clutch linings ?
