Default Kaeser Compressor cut in pressure

I have a 2005 Kaeser SX 6 model screw compressor. Iím having issues with the cut in pressure not kicking in until it drops below 60 PSI. My Haas VF2 alarms out from this.

I have read the manual and if I understand correctly the higher the Max cut in pressure is set to, it will cut on sooner. I have adjusted from one extreme to the other and ran it in the middle.

I spray paint at my shop and it causes issues with consistency in pressure.

Iíve only heard of a pressure switch failing and not turning off until the blow off valve is activated. Not specifically cut in failure.

My guess is itís going out. Anyone have experience with these? Iím not sure if this model can be serviced and clean the contacts.

Check for a partially plugged orifice/damper in the air connection.

The bottom of the pressure switch was so corroded and clogged up (picture attached is cleaned out). The orifice was damaged. Next day shipped one and installed this morning. Itís running great. I will be cleaning that yearly when doing other maintenance.
