I know, an ancient control. 1997 actually. Won’t power up screen is dead and an alarm sounds continuously. Thinking the crt died but then why would an alarm sound? Maybe something else is wrong. Anyone have the same problem? I called swi but they couldn’t help much. Offered to swap the pendant for $1,397.

We had a few track based mills (very good for one offs) . Their system is pc based . I've swapped mother boards and video cards to keep them running (getting hard to find isa boards these days).

Main problem was monitor failure , getting them this side of the pond became nearly impossible,. I've swapped the out the MDA for a VGA and used a small LCD ln place of the CRT but , while age3 works (in colour!) age2 refuses to boot so might not help you.

I suggest you check the power supply voltages, 12 and 5 v in the pendant box and a pc AT PSU in the main unit.
