We have a 72" king boring mill. Bought 15 years ago for scrap price. Repaired a gear and haven't had many other problems.
I cant get the horizontal feed to stick now. Its a weird to me contraption. This sliding ring with rockers and mating tapers that lock in to engage the feed.
I believe these rockers and possibly the ID of the ring have worn out and not allowing full engagement. I hope someone here knows something about this. Any help appreciated.
