I was given a 24"×60" wood workbench to put my lathe on. Afterward i got the idea of using 2 Kennedy bottom boxes with a steel plate top instead. I will mostly work on pool cues but may turn some bike parts occasionally. I would use the wood bench for a workbench puting the top boxes i have on it. What do you guys think of this idea?
This would lower the height of the lathe without cutting the workbench down, it's a little high for me right now.
