    Default Lathe Stand 10x36 Atlas

I was given a 24"×60" wood workbench to put my lathe on. Afterward i got the idea of using 2 Kennedy bottom boxes with a steel plate top instead. I will mostly work on pool cues but may turn some bike parts occasionally. I would use the wood bench for a workbench puting the top boxes i have on it. What do you guys think of this idea?
This would lower the height of the lathe without cutting the workbench down, it's a little high for me right now.

Grinder74: Did you miss reading the rules at the top of the forum (stickies)? Discussing or mentioning that brand of lathe on this forum is verboten. I'm surprised that this post has not been locked. You might want to re-post this query over at the HomeShopMachinist forum. It is better suited for home shop machinists.
