I would like to attach, cantilevered a lexan shelf to a shelf bracket. I would prefer to not have much steel surface area on the lexan (like it is floating or teetering on steel). I have done similar with glass with fancy secret processes of glass to steel glue suspending 3/4 inch thick x 28" long glass off a 7/8 diameter disk. My glass guy went crazy then closed his business, so I am looking for alternative materials- requiring alternative methods. He was a genius and really good glass guy. I tested thru bolting, and giving it repeated stress test the lexan started to crack and loosened- not an option. Aquarium adhesive takes more surface area than I want to give, and is hard to get "seemless".
