A friend I do work for acquired a Solberga drill press and he can engage the power feed but it seems to stop feeding when the load increases. He is counterboring on a 5/8 hole and the spot face cutter is 1 3/16 diameter.
Has anyone adjusted these power feeds? The literature indicates that the power feed will stop if the force is too much then re-engage. From what I can see the castellated nuts have had the hammer and pin punch routine rather than a proper hook spanner. I am inclined to go in with some bit of education if I can.
