LNS Chip conveyor hauling oil with chips

Long time lurker here...

Ive got an LNS Turbo MH500 conveyor that over the last month or so has started bringing a ton of oil with its chips. About two weeks ago my swiss lathe threw a coolant level error and I couldnt find any sort of major leaks anywhere.

Then I looked in the chip barrel and it was 3/4 full of oil :|

Fast forward to today and the same thing has occurred. I cant find any info on what I should be tearing apart or looking for to fix this.

Any ideas?

If ii did not do this before, it seems like an clean up and fluid change out, would be the ticket. Some how the fluid has changed characteristics, or some thing on the conveyor is plugged up.

Do you have it on during the whole cycle? Pick one operation or tool to have it on and off the rest of the time. The chips need some time to drip dry before going in the bin.

We did have it running through the whole cycle!

We actually had a PM on the machine and the tech told us to keep the filters in the conveyor clean, to just keep the belt running.

I have since changed it to just run during a single op.
