Where can I purchase a "number" or "wire gauge" (#1-#60) drill bit stand. I can't seem to find them for sale at any of the normal places I look.

Something like this but for number sizes.

I have two stands similar to the McMaster ones. No idea where I got them , probably as old as me (75). I also made a similar stand from a scrap piece of PVC 2" thick, 3-1/2" wide and 8" long. I used number stamps to mark sizes and a Sharpie fine point pen to fill the impression made by the stamps. The shop made one is much easier to see. The other two are difficult to see even after attempting to fill the etchings with Dykem and cleaning the rest of the stand off with laquer thinner.
I found that boring each hole with a drill two sizes larger than the intended drill works best. I also bored 3 holes for each drill to hold extras.
