I'm considering a small cnc lathe (footprint of around 60" x 115") to use for making my own parts (small runs of simple parts ranging from 2.5" 4140PH to 1" 1018 and all less than 12" lengths). From what I have come across in the used market, a hwacheon hi eco 10 seems to be a good choice but I wanted to see if any members here have suggestions on what might be good to look for on the used market.

Doosan Lynx 220A. Super quick linear ways. Definitely won't be able to hog your 2.5" 4140 parts though it should make it up with speed. 2" through bore may be a limitation for you as well.
