A feature of mental illness, collecting. But jewelers vises being much smaller provide a great amount of fun without storing outside. Marshall and Boley jewelers vises, and the small vises that look like huge bench vises like this one are very cool.
 
I have that same vise passed down from my grandad- I have it mounted on the desk in the shop and it's handy for small work.
I have a small arbor press in the shop for the same reason- it helps for work which gets lost on the larger gear..
 
Thanks, didin't realize it was an antique but it actually is. I did see the Vises of Garage journal some great vises there. Favorites are the Athol then Starret, Charles Parker, Rock Island, Wilton, and early USA made craftsman. Oh and the blackstuff era tools are amazing.
