Machinio & machineseeker are trusted sites for buying?

Hi,
I would like to ask if anyone has ever buy a machine like a lathe from the below sites and how safe and trusted for purchase are these sites? If I understand right, when you buy a machine you have to transfer directly the money on the sellers account. Do you know if these sites have confirm the sellers that sell their products there? Are they trusted and they will not deceive you when they receive the money and send you nothing? Whichever experience are welcome.

I believe that machineseeker is just a matchmaker between buyer and seller, and you do the deal directly with the seller. So you'll have to make a decision about the trustworthiness of the seller, not machineseeker. I have interacted directly with the owner of machineseeker and he seems on the level. With respect to sellers, most of the sellers I've seen are machine dealers and most seem legitimate, but especially when dealing with overseas transactions you need to do your due diligence.
