Making a new pinion shaft

The picture below shows the pinion from the belt tightening arm on the drill press.

I would like to make a new one with a bigger knob on it. That way it will be easier to tighten the drive belt.

The pinion shaft is 0.750" in diameter with 7 teeth and a pitch of 12.

I have the proper equipment to cut gears but I can't figure out which Involute Cutter I need to cut the teeth in the new shaft. In fact I'm not sure such a cutter exists. All the charts I reviewed don't list a cutter for less than 12 teeth.

How would you make the teeth in the new shaft?

A proper looking gear with 7 teeth means it has a bigger pressure angle With the normal 20Dgr and 7 teeth it would have serious undercut if possible at all
If its for a rack and pinion you could measure the angle on the rack perhaps
But that does not help much as you still cannot buy a cutter for it
So best solution is given multiple times above already
