Hi,

I am looking for a shock absorber with stroke length of about 20-30mm.
It has to be adjustable with a load range of about 100-500N.
If someone is familiar with some off the shelf sock absorbers that are answering to the description above, it would be great to get some details.

Thanks :)

Maybe look to the full suspension mountain bike world. The rear shocks on them are pretty small, and very adjustable if you spend enough $.

We build Motorcycle shocks from scratch, all parts made by us. If I had more information I might be able to help, even send you a kit. That pretty short stroke for us though. 58mm is about the shortest of our normal builds. Spherical bearing eyelets or clevis mounts.

Post #6 mentions Ace in the UK. I have used the US location in the past, they were very helpful. The industrial shocks they supplied worked exactly as advertised. In this case I used an air cylinder to move a dove tailed slide back and forth with an air cylinder. The slide contacted the stops very gently after first hitting the shocks.

Went back and looked at the original post, maybe Ace has an location near Israel since they have one in the UK.
