Monarch waa lathe

I just bought a Monarch WAA lathe It's birthday is this month 1944. Does any one have any Info on this machine, I believe It's 54 inches between centers. I would really like to know the original color. If anyone has a handle for the tail stock I would like to buy it.

Paint colour

The Lathe I have painted to the origial colour is a slate gray colour as you can see in the pictures .This is a 1940 w cw cost the War Dep. 2980 dollars back then.
