First post, sorry if this is in the wrong category.
I'm picking up a good condition millport 1540 lathe (with a good amount of tooling) for a song, and will be using it in my home shop.
For the life of me, I cannot find any specs on the motor. I'm running single phase and need to acquire an appropriately rated vfd or other phase converter. Seller doesn't have a clue on machine specs, and there's no data plate on the machine (or motor) to indicate it's output.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
