Good luck buddy. I haven't been on in a few years and wondered what happened to some of the regulars.
    Hope it all goes well.

In the words of Alan Smethurst:- Are Yew Alroight Boy?

Good luck with all the treatments and the plastic plumbing. Make sure you have a good supply of 3M Cavilon barrier cream (FIL had the same problems).

    regards

I had noticed your absence, but had optimistically assumed that you were off enjoying your retirement.

My best wishes to you and I hope for a successful treatment and speedy recovery.

Or put another way ;- I'm still here
You could host a sporting event called the Super Bowel. Gordon can do the half-time show.

So sorry you’ve been ill, and have a lot to face, I don’t know if your religious but I’ll pray for you anyway, I remember when I wasn’t, after five rather large(?) heart attacks, open engine surgery 12 weeks ago, I’ve found that belief helped me through the ordeal, the doctors and nurses whilst being made pariahs by the twisted BBC and other media were brilliant, they tried, no obstacles were too big for them, hell I had nurses cooking meals for me at home and bringing them into the ICU ( I developed quite a taste for noodles and other dishes that I couldn’t pronounce) these folk worked tirelessly, I was never left alone, someone was there 24/7, that was surgeons, anethsetists, I went to sleep and woke up to find the heart lung scientist sitting there, he never went home, looked the other way and the surgeon was sitting there too!
Talk about care, it was amazing even the janitor sat with me! There’s no visiting in icu but I never had a moment, they rung the mrs to put her mind at rest hourly they call the NHS all sorts but the reality couldn’t be further from the truth, your going to be ok your in fantastic hands,
Take care, my thoughts are with you for what it’s worth, try not to worry ( easier said)

Limi,I wish you well in your upcoming treatment and whatever needs to be done. Your openness is appreciated as it reminds us to focus on our own health in this regard. Your professional input has been very much on the mark and valued here.

Best wishes in the days ahead. The feedback on this is very good and no doubt will be helpful for you in the days ahead. It seems as though you are in good hands.

No posts from you was noted but I thought your absence meant you were either busy or enjoying retirement. Wishing you a speedy recovery from rural Tennessee. We've missed you.
