I have a few of these cartridge type holders for the typical triangular carbide inserts given to me. I could not find a makers mark on them, nor do I recognize them. They look like something for inserting into homemade boring bars. The only markings are on the butt, and seem to indicate the various angles the insert is held at. The larger series is meant to go in a 11/16 inch hole and the smaller a 1/2 inch hole. Both have a 3/16 key way for, I suppose, a dog point set screw. Anyone recognize them? Seems like a interesting and simple idea for making up boring bars (for larger bores) to suit.
