On my compressor tank I have two cast iron 2" inspection ports with o-ring flanges. these are straight thread not NPT. I would like to drill and tap one for a pressure gauge. But just in case where can I buy a new one. I do not know the correct name for this item.
Everything I find is either tapered with no sealing flange or stamped metal that is only designed to hold a liquid in a barrel with no pressure.
A search for "bung" just turns up the female portion.
