I have a kia turn-15 with fanuc oi-t controller.
The machine was crashed yesterday and started with a z axis torque alarm. I got that freed but now have an al-60 index turret power off alarm.
The procedure im following was written down by my father and is not working.

1. change parameter 0011 to 00000001
2 turn off and on
3.set k5 bit to 1
4. push select, feed hold, and spindle stop.
5. turn turret by hand till arrows match up.
6. push call/bz off
7. set k5 bit to 0
8 push spindle stop, select, and feed hold
9. change para 0011 back to original
10. power off and on

this is not working and im not sure what to do right now

That would be K5 Bit 0, If the turret unclamps (uncouples) it most likely the right bit.
When you change the parameter 0011, are you turning on Parameter Write Enable?
Does the parameter show the change that you made?

iv also check to see if there were any tripped breakers but there are none.
The oinstructions I have are for the al60 turret index power off. These are from kia heavy industries from a long time ago

When you turn the turret by hand does it move easily?
Watch the turret servo drive when you are powering the machine, does it alarm instantly?
I don't know if this current but is worth a try,

I don't have to put in much effort to turn it.
as soon as it is turned on it will throw the alarm before I even hit standby

I don't know if I figured it out but I uncoupled the turret and spun it around about 20 times and got a turret adjust message! Now I am able to index the turret. Not sure if the problem is fixed yet though
