Apologies in advance for the very messy appearance ... it would be helpful to know which model Clausing lathe this is and what the standard collet size is. This is a lathe being handed down within our family ... there is quite a bit of tooling and accessories but having trouble sorting out which collets go with this lathe ... we unfortunately do not have access to the rear of the lathe at this time and as you can see from the photos, its also being used as a storing place for a mis-match of lathe parts. Also would the collets be commonly held in a lathe chuck on this size?

Thanks so much for your responses ... PhilK

A little difficult to tell from the small pictures but would agree will Bill D's ID as Clausing 4900 series. Unless someone has removed it, there should a Clausing tag with the model # stamped in it located on the front of the bed at the tailstock end. The draw tube collets for this lathe are 4c and can be hard to come by.
