I came in possession of a Nordic 15 Lathe. I know, I know......I have a few questions regarding powering it up. 3 phase from a VFD or 220V single phase? The tag by the power inlet says 220V, 60Hz, 13Amp. I have tried both and get nothing. On the VFD I get a Motor current overload error. The motor is a 5HP, 3 phase. When I go direct to the motor from the VFD the motor runs, so that's not an issue. Could it be the electrics?, sure. I have tested for continuity through the switches and it is there. I need the rest of the electrics to work for the clutches. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
