Does anyone have a good source for short lengths of 3.5" diameter Nylatron NSM. Grainger and Zoro have it for $192/foot and I can buy only one foot. Sabic Polymershapes will sell it to me for $91/ft, but I'd need to buy five feet. The part is only 3" long, so I'm hoping someone has a better source for me.

I've made one-time purchases of Nylatron on Ebay. Not sure how many pieces you will need.
Here's a 5" cylinder that's 24" long: QUADRANT 5" X 24" LONG NYLATRON GSM PLASTIC ROD MILITARY 933 - 1-541-556 | eBay
You could cut off what you need and sell the rest.

Contact Tstar.com..tri star plastics. I believe sells by the foot.
They were a bit cheaper than Sabic ($86.70/ft) but still was 5 foot lengths.
