OEM or standard run taper pin???

Need to replace a threaded taper pin, however the threads are on the small end, the nut draws the taper pin tight.
I can find the opposite style no problem...

Pin sets a lever on a Cincy Radial drill.
Pin has 7/16-14 thread and is 2.750 long.

Was this an OEM thing??

If not , who has them??

Sounds like it could be an AN-386 taper pin.

Link posting isn't working for me right now, but the charts showing the geometry and sizes of the AN-386 pins can be found on the internet.

AN-386 pins should be pretty much readily available from fastener houses and aircraft suppliers.

Are you sure it's 7/16-14? I looked up AN386 taper pins and it looks like they're all 7/16-20. My best guess based on looking at AN386 charts is you need an AN386-6-21 or AN386-6-22.

AN386 is the pin style

First look was McMaster, but no go there, which surprised me.

Yep 7/16-14 ,,,remember this was radial was built in 1958 (per Cincy)

Got to run now but I measure the fine details tomorrow

I don't know the components of this setup, but can you just use another nut, or is is something special?

It's worth noting that AN-386 pins are typically used with a thick "counterbored washer" that allows the taper to pass completely through the pinned parts.
