    Default Optima drill grinder adjustment

I have an Optima drill grinder I'm bringing back to working condition (really only missing the smallest drill chuck). I didn't find a manual online for the Optima, but one for a similar grinder (if not identical) called the Megapoint. I can make most all the adjustments and it's doing a really nice job except for the width of the primary grind - it's way too wide. The Megapoint says the fix for this is to bring the wheel out and for me that only increases the depth of the grind - should I be moving the window out at the same time? No mention of the latter and it seems that it might just return things to the original condition unless there's something really subtle about the geometry of the arm movement.

    Suggestions?

After I get this working I'm going to try working on the point splitting attachment. Looks to be loads of fun.
