When I was little, I had 2 books of cartoons by Bill Eddy, who did the calendar illustrations for Honeywell Corporation in the 50's. They were wry observational and situational humor, frequently poking fun at the engineer's and machinist's worlds.
Reading of the misadventures of some of the denizens of this forum, particularly those pertaining to disastrous lathe moving incidents made me recall a certain cartoon. I eventually chased down copies of both books. "A little nonsense now and then" and "Back to the drawing board again" They're wonderful, and I've scanned that one particular page to share with you all here...
