Bob, And everyone, what will you do if "tested positive"? Look hard a Remedisvir? Try to by some water tank anodes and a few tabs of HCQ?

Listen to your personal physician who happens to have NO experience with this Coors -OH NO virus?

    asking for a friend

Stay home so yhou don't give it to anyone else. That's the whole purpose of testing.

When enough people don't give it to anyone else, then it will die off. Not a difficult concept.

A review of 500 tested positive cases ,under mandated lockdown ,and in reciept of the $1300 lockdown allowance, finds fully one quarter ,125 not at home at all after two checks ......Penalty notices in the mail ,folks.........Significant numbers of reciepients of the $1300 lockdown allowance ,are still going to work.......There is no possibility of any controll measure working with this level of disobedience ......jailtime next.

So in your mind, YOU will not die of the Wahoo Flu, but those you give it to will.

    How quaint.... Charmingly odd..

    back to basics:

    - "covid" is a virus
    - it is a "flue" virus
    - humanity has been looking for a cure against viruses for decades without success
    - including flue. flue vaccines have limited effect and need to be reapplied every season
    - we have been living with flue for ages

what conclusions would you draw from that?

in sweden, with a population of a little over 10 million, 5759 have died of/with covid 19.
out of the 8042 that tested positive for covid19. some 3851 were under 20 years of age, of which 504 under the age of 10.
out of the 2515 that were admitted to an icu some 23 were under the age of 20, of which 6 were under the age of 10.
in sweden schools for the up to 15 years of age did not close down.

if you ask how many died of /with covid19 in the under 20 years of age category?.

    the answer is: just one.

isn't it about time to stop and think about what is really going on?Experience

No it isn't. It's more closely related to SARS and MERS. I wish people would quit calling this the flu.

    It's not.

I have been looking at Sweden as a comparison to Michigan for some time now (both around 10M population, a few major cities and lots of rural otherwise, completely different reaction to the Covid), but that data was looking eerily familiar. Looks like Gretchen's best efforts are totaling up to... approximately zero.

Should we be looking at the fact that if people weren't obese (90% of Americans are overweight or obese) and horribly unhealthy we could handle something like this without resorting to extreme measures? Nope, requires introspection and/or personal responsibility. Bummer.

    sweden-vs.-michigan.jpg

Edit: looks like the numbers for Michigan are impossible to read. Cases are 81k and deaths are 6200. The scales on all the charts are very close to the same, Sweden breaks out more age groups though, which looks like it flattens out the old folks, but if you stack the last two on top of each other it would look just like the MI one.

in sweden around 810,000 in total were tested.
in michigan it were over 2 million.
that would mean that michigan still has a long way to go before a situation comparable to sweden is reached.

Right, because we're testing anyone and everyone to try and keep the numbers up so that we can continue to make policy on how many people still have it. Note that our "second wave" is just lots of healthy, er, "asymptomatic" people testing positive having been exposed but not falling ill. The total cases and deaths are tracking side-by-side for every age group, who cares how many healthy people test negative?

big pharma lost out on mers and sars, the diseases were gone before there was a vaccine.
i think they are determined to not let that happen again.
fear is a very strong selling point..
