this is too depressing to read, and the worst part about it - there is quite a big part of population that see these people as "making it", because they employed also a few honest people apart from large number of co-schemers, payed taxes that amounted to a larger amount than a business that added actual value to something, donated to charity and so on, they are basically the squirrels of rodents, the positive PR and amount of people involved is what makes difficult convicting them

That might well be an accurate article full of hard-hitting facts. But, the fact the the NY Times published it makes me instantly discount its credibility. Moreover, their asinine website that requires me to 'log in' before I can read it? The death knell.
