Well this is the second and I hope last thing form this purchase I need help with information on. Buying a mill from a local university that they apparently purchased new when the school was founded in 1965.
With the mill was this cabinet filled with the tooling for the mill. It's a very interesting design. The drawers swing out from one side. So you can have two open at once and not block the lower one completely. Also the two main doors open like a cantilever and slide into the sides so they don't block the area in front and also only swing out like 10" when you swing them open. Very cool.
So I wanted to maybe pick up another drawer or see if there were any other accessories. There is no manufacturers tag on the cabinet. That little tag on the front is a University materials tracking sticker.
I did find under the insert on the bottom drawer a template for cutting the drawer inserts. It says it's a Vidmar Swing-Out drawer cabinet. I can't find any product like this on Vidmar's website or any picture of cabinet made by Vidmar like this on a Google image search.
Could this be something that came from Cincinnati with the mill when the bought it new that was just made by Vidmar for them and hence no branding? Thanks for any help guys.
