OT Looking for sources for Aermet 100

Does anybody have a source for Aermet100?

A company I work with is looking for 6" dia round, maybe 10" long for a project

We've exhausted all our sources looking for a piece

any help would be much appreciated

Any help? (just a google search) but they say it's a stock size Aermet 100 ( AMS 6532)- Bar Stock List

It's the purchasing agent that asked for the help, the chances of him doing an internet search are zero, I didn't have time to search for him (probably should have)

I called FrySteel this morning, they have 4000# in stock, not sure why our purchasing agent didn't try them

In some companies(corporations) the only thing purchasing agents seem to manage is to get the same product at 30% higher price, 3 weeks slower and you still need to do the digging for them.
And then they act butt-hurt when you bypass them making the purchases

All good until they start ordering "equivalent products" and instead of Carpenter tool steel you get chinese 1018. Steel is steel, right?
