I was talking to the guy next door, got caught throwing crap in his yard again! He is a retired prison gard, he said the inmates that were most able to escape tend to have a photographic memory.
And, I think the more successful mechanics/machinist tend to have that ability. It saves valuable time!
Now, it could be a gift or a curse, it can be used for good or bad, it can be abused to deceive.
Somewhat like the responsibility there is with the actual skill to being able to make most anything at any time, on machines..... Now my feet stink!
