OT - Practical Machinist on Instgram?

Who runs that page? Some of their content sucks.

For instance- today I see they're suggesting one use a flexible tape scale and scribe to create a rudimentary lathe indexer. That post wouldn't fly for a minute in the actual forum and I have a feeling it's lead to the in-flux of unistrut machine builders.

It would not surprise me in the least. Obviously, what constitutes professional level is no longer a consideration. According to that Instagram post, it would appear that amateur hour and hobby level imports are no longer verbotten, either.

Probably the same knob who writes those "What 10 types of caliper every machinist should own" type "articles".
 
FYI there are 2 practical machinist instagrams... one is practicalmachinist_ (Underscore) I have apparently been following the wrong one?

Admin may want to check on that.
