I'm writing to ask what my best route would be to get rid of my old turning center, a 1990 Leadwell LTC10. It has the Duplomatic turret and has issues with not finding/locking into position. I've had someone out to look at it(admittedly I didn't have much faith in this particular repair guy) and he thinks the issue to be the relay on the main board in the control cabinet. It has been like this for over a year and I've stopped taking turning work anyway so I have no use for it. I have no desire to fix it, I just want it out of my garage. I have a scrap yard 20 minutes away in MA where I usually take my chips so I've thought about just asking if they'd take it away. Is it even worth stripping it for any components to sell because it seems to me like it would be a pain and it's so old I wouldn't think there's much of a market for them.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
