Default OT: Sending Prayers and Hoping for the Best for Fire Victims

The latest wild fire to scar Nor Cal is burning in Butte County. The entire town of Paradise has been destroyed. The PM members in that town could use a few extra hopeful thoughts and prayers. I don't know any of them personally, but anyone who has their lives turned completely turned upside down by these raging infernos deserve our compassion. Here are some of the members affected:

dbrimm, MadGepetto, [email protected], MikeR, reedeprintice

May God bless you all and keep you safe.

No. My username is a reference my passion with fireworks.

And an aside, a lot of folks involved with these devastating fires are finding out they are under insured, or the homes were paid off and the owners chose, for one reason or another, to not have insurance. Renters don't usually have insurance.

The entire town is gone. All the schools have burned, the hospital has burned, all the stores and gas stations have burned. They are starting to count the deceased. With the time change and the inability of CalFire to fight the fire from the air after dusk, this is going to be a tough fight.

No! I like to hear how fellow machinists fare.
