The number of old threads/posts needs cleaning. There are thirty pages of posts, normally this is 3 to 5.

If I remember correctly maaaaany years ago on an older version of the software there was a thread count per forum limit that the site was getting ready to exceed on the General forum. So it was broken up into General and General-Archive.
Just poked in there and seems like most of the recent posts are newbies vainly hoping someone will reply in a 10 year old thread or spammers.
Seems to me that the General-Archive just ought to be locked.

Except maybe move this one back into General and possibly a sticky. Give the young folks that come here and ask for tips something to work through.
