Ot, steel building

Looking at 34x80 steel building. Something like simpsonsteel.com or dura steel, or...... they are both cash and carry. Around $35k with insulation, standing seam roof, and pe stamped drawings. But I have to put up, do foundation, electrics.

Anyone done this? Anyone dealt with them? Thoughts?

Figure I will buy a small storage building. If goes well buy the full size shop above.

I did it. 20 years ago. 30x70 building by Wedgcor. No complaints all went well.

Do you think you may want to expand later ?

look at the ends, cheaper is "non expandable" ends.

Pretty sure this size is it. if I do need more room I would have to put up a lean to or build an L shaped add on

That's a pretty narrow building. Well worth it to go wider if you can.

I started out building a 36x120 with a 36x66 leg off one end and scratched that plan after thinking through the layout, heating, running to grab the phone, listening to the stereo, listening for a machine stopping or drill squealing from the other end, etc.
