OT: Steel erection, Trenton NJ

This you already realise is an invitation for innuendos, viagra etc, thought you called them ironworkers?

Companies call themselves steel erection companies, perhaps with the idea of a little free publicity. I saw the name "Green Rock Steel Erection" on the back of a work jacket that considered snitching for a couple seconds. Only problem was that it was on the body of burly workman at the time.

small job or big job

small job, call your steel service centers and ask for referrals

big job and can't find a guy that's got time, call eric at lapeer steel. google it. i've used him before and know he took his crew all over the country when they were needed

Tri-Steel Fabricators, they've been around forever. At my old shop, we subbed them our huge fab work that was "oversize" for us to literally fit out our roll-up doors.

I think you need to provide a little more information. Are we talking a tool shed or an air craft hanger for a Boeing 777?

It's a small job, set a couple of 30' tall columns and a few beams; about the same work as a pair of traffic light poles, but needing to be set a bit more accurately. The last ones we set up here with a construction forklift and manlift before tearing down and shipping them to the customer, where they had a local firm do the reassembly. This time around, different site, their regular firm is booked out until February, so they've asked me to look at alternatives.
