OT What changed in the forum software?

I check the new posts daily. In the last few days instead of getting 4 pages of new posts I am getting 3o pages. What did the programmers change? Why?
Can you put it back like it was?

I've noticed the same thing but thought it was just me. Some days it's 2 pages, some days it's 7, some days it's all. Be interested to hear why.

Its happening to me as well, very annoying, some kind of bug recently introduced.

There may be some more stuff to look into. I started a couple threads as a new user to this site. One in the General forum and one in the South Bend Forum. General worked and has some feedback but now when I reply in it says needs to be approved by mod and the one in the SB forum says it wont show up until approved. How long is that process? Also I found errors that I want to report to Paula in the SB forum sticky threads but the mailbox is full.

This is indeed a new behavior in vBulletin 4.2.5.

vBulletin developer suggest instead to use the getdaily option, as Mud also suggested:
