Overbeck Twister Speed Lathe - Recommended?

I need 3 speed lathes to be running 4+ hours each every day.

3-4 years ago I went the cheap way and bought 3 Chinese speed lathes thinking that I have enough know-how to keep them running and save some money. This turned out to be true, but it's turned in electrical issues, stuck collets, rattling, and soon something will go really wrong. Then I don't know of any place to get spare parts for these machines.

So it's time to get something American Made and that is also supported after the sale.

To me, Overbeck Twister looks like the way to go. I looked at Crozier, but that's more than I need. I looked at older used Schauer lathes, but also bigger than what I need.

Features that I need
  • 120v preferred, although I could make 220v work
  • Quick start and stop with foot pedal control
  • Reliable collet opening/closing that won't stick, 5C collet preferred
  • Overall long term reliability
  • Good support and customer service.

Any Overbeck owners that can share their experiences? Or other recommendations on a speed lathe that I'm not considering?

Thanks in advance
